Up for sale is a bag of NANTAN IRON-NICKEL METEORITE particles. The total weight is 400 grams (14 ounces). I tumble a lot of larger sized Nantan meteorites and these are the particles left over from the tumbling process, so they are genuine Nantan meteorite pieces. I think these are so great for craft or school projects. They are also great for teachers to use for educational purposes. You could also separate them into small bags for resale. Included with this item is a nice color informational label.
The Nantan meteorite is from Lihu and Yaozai town, Nantan County, Guangxi Province, China. This meteorite fell in 1516 A.D. and was found in 1958. The meteorites are made up of Iron 92.35% and Nickel 6.96%.
