This a tooth from the giant prehistoric fish, ONCHOPRISTIS. This fish lived during the Upper Cretaceous time period approximately 100 million years ago! Being this old, the teeth often have repairs or broken tips. But these are a unique and interesting fossil! They are found in Morocco, North Africa. Included with the fossil is a nice color information card. THE TOOTH PICTURED IS NOT THE ACTUAL TOOTH YOU WILL RECEIVE. YOU WILL RECEIVE A TOOTH OF SIMILAR QUALITY AND SIZE IF YOU PURCHASE THIS ITEM. These teeth are approximately 1 3/4 to 2 inches in length. We have a variety of onchopristis teeth in our store so be sure to check out our other listings!
