This is a Pterosaur tooth fossil. It measures .807 inches in length and comes with a nice color information label and a glass-topped display box. Pterosaurs were flying reptiles that lived during the dinosaur age. Most pterosaurs had elongated jaws full of thin, pointed teeth. These creatures were carnivores and scavengers, eating fish they caught with their long beaks, as well as feeding on the carcasses of animals that had died. This fossil was found in Morocco, North Africa, and dates back to the Cretaceous time period, approximately 100 million years ago.
