This is a really neat fossil slab. It contains a Carpopenaeus (an extinct genus of prawn, like a little shrimp). This fossil is from the Cretaceous time period about 95 million years ago and was found in Lebanon. The shrimp measures 1 1/2 inches in length. The entire piece measures 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
